Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine where you feature an upcoming release that you’re excited about. This is my first time participating but I decided it was a great time to start because there is a book coming out that I have been eagerly anticipating for a while now. And that book is….
Title: Everlost (Night Watchmen #3)
Author: Candace Knoebel
Publisher: Candace Knoebel (May 10, 2015)
Here is the blurb via Goodreads:
Faye Middleton thought the worst had come to pass the night she and her friends barely escaped from Ethryeal City and the clutches of the evil Priestess Clara. Officially shunned from the Coven, Faye is forced to lay low in order to come up with a plan to bring Clara down.
At Jaxen’s childhood manor, they were supposed to be safe from any outside issues, and they were… until his long-lost mother shows up. Determined to win back what she lost so long ago, Evangeline reveals a secret that could shatter their beliefs, or be their saving grace.
Now, with two Covens searching for Faye, they must find a way to start over. With the help of the Rebellion, they begin the arduous task of forming their own army. However, the choices they are faced with leave them questioning everything they’ve ever known.
Now we first met Faye way back in the first book, Everlasting, where she is waiting to attend what is known as the Culling ceremony. She thinks she’s a defect and then finds out something amazing and frightening. From that point we’re thrown into a wonderful world of training and magic. We meet so many great characters and of course a romantic interest..Jaxen. It’s hard not to give spoilers so I’ll keep this short but the adventures and intrigue continue in the second book, Evernight. At the end of that book Faye is now dealing with a curse, being on the run, and Jaxen’s long-lost mother! Needless to say I have been dying to find out what happens next and am excited that the wait is almost over! This is definitely a series that keeps you intrigued and if you haven’t read it yet I recommend you start reading the first one soon because if you’re like me you’ll be binge reading this series in no time!
Great bonus here if this sounds like the type of story you’re interested in then I recommend you pick up Everlasting (Night Watchmen #1) here at Amazon, when I checked it was free! I don’t know how long that will last but I believe the regular price is $0.99 and totally worth it. If it feels like I’m really pushing this series it’s because I absolutely am, I fell in love with it and can’t wait for Everlost.
Are you waiting for a great book to release? Or have you read the Night Watchmen series? Planning to give it a try? I’d love to hear what you think! Share your thoughts in the comments and happy reading!
