Update: I wasn’t Abducted by Aliens

Some of you may have noticed that for a bit over a month now my blog has been severely neglected.  So, I wanted to set the record straight… I have not been abducted by aliens.  What actually happened is much more boring.  A couple months ago I broke my foot, which I thought would make for a lot of excellent time to read and blog.  However, I was so miserable that I pouted and didn’t do much of anything.  Have you ever had to use crutches?!  Imagine trying to carry a glass of OJ while on crutches…not fun and made me cranky.  Luckily, I’m all finished with that!  This was my month to get back in the swing of things but it was not meant to be.  I had THREE wedding to go to!  One of them was my sister’s so I was quite busy.  Don’t worry all of that is done and I’m excited to get back to all the books!

Now I have to say in spite of everything I just said, I did still do some reading.  Specifically Rogue by Karen Lynch.  It’s the third and final book in the Relentless trilogy and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.  I fell into a pretty big book hangover. It was the perfect ending to the series… everything I wanted it to be without knowing it.  It was hard to pick up another book after such greatness. If you haven’t read this series yet then I recommend you stop reading this post immediately and go read them now!!

This is where I want to let you know that reviews are coming!!  Slowly…but I have many reviews that I’m currently working on.  One of which will obviously be for Rogue by Karen Lynch.  I will also be working on the review for one of the October picks for the wonderful book club I’m a part of on Goodreads, Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins.  I know it’s almost December and it’s the October pick but it was amazing so I’m still going to put up a review.  The group on Goodreads is fantastic and called Square in Wonderland Book Club if you are interested in checking it out.  I’ll also be posting a review of Outspoken by Lora Richardson which I’m very excited about so be on the lookout for that soon.

That’s just a brief glimpse of what I have coming up I have SO MANY other books I’m going to get to as well as some other fun posts too.  Hopefully this post is proof that I’m still here and do in fact have many things planned.  I’m thinking I’ll need to have a post of my book wish list for Santa too because now that Thanksgiving is over I’m getting that list ready.  Also, I’m pretty sure Santa has access to my blog 🙂
